translation for the Portuguese.
Jens
respondeu as perguntas do Jornal
Jovem, sobre a política na Dinamarca. Segue a entrevista e a tradução.
Jornal Jovem - Which is the degree of involvement and knowledge of the citizens of this country related to the politic? It there a real participation?
Jens Eddy - In general not much time is spend on reading and understanding politic. Many has a clear conception of who they will vote for but my subjective opinion is that they do not know the full programme for the party they vote for. Often young peoples political position are influence by their parents.
Jornal Jovem - How do you perceive the politic that is showed in the media of the country? Is it tendentious or impartial? In wich way?
Jens - The Danish media has different angles to politic. Television/radio is objective whereas some newspapers tend to be influenced by certain political perceptions.
Jornal Jovem - How the politicians look like for the society? Which are the most common commentaries about politic and politicians in the country?
Jens – Politicians take an important position for many people - however some will find one politician unreliable while others find the person very reliable which clearly depends on your own politican understanding. It is of great importance that statements from political sides can be trusted. If a statement is found to be unreliable or directly untrustworthy the party/people behind it can be suspended or thrown out of the Danish parliament.
Jornal Jovem - How is the electoral advertising in the country?
Jens – You will find this predominant in the weeks before an election - posters will be published. Politicians will walk on the street to get extra votes, much material will be published and shared. Otherwise citizens can always request material and get it send by post from the different parties.
Jornal Jovem - How they deal with the corruption in politic? In which way the majority of the population faces this problem?
Jens – Corruption is totally unacceptable in Denmark and almost non existent. It will be a heavy burden for a person if he/she is caught in corruption. The person will be suspended and it will harm the party as well. Once the Danish prime minister was caught in sharing unreliable information and lost his title. People will never accept corruption in Denmark.

Jornal
Jovem - Qual o grau de envolvimento e de conhecimento
dos cidadãos deste país com relação
à política? Há participação
efetiva?
Jens
- Em geral, não gastam muitas
horas lendo e entendendo política. Muitos têm
uma concepção clara em quem irão votar,
mas minha opinião subjetiva é que não
sabem o programa completo do partido que irão votar.
A posição política dos jovens é
influenciada por seus pais.
Jornal
Jovem
- Como você percebe a política na mídia
do país? É algo tendencioso ou imparcial?
Em que sentido e proporção?
Jens
- A mídia dinamarquesa tem diferentes
ângulos em relação à política.
Televisão/radio são objetivos, enquanto alguns
jornais tendem a serem influenciados por algumas percepções
políticas.
Jornal Jovem - O jovem é participativo
e entende da política do país? Há manifestações
estudantis?
Jens
- Na minha opinião apenas poucos jovens investem
seu tempo lendo sobre política , normalmente o que
eles sabem sobre esse assunto, ficaram sabendo através
da televisão.
Jornal
Jovem - Como são vistos os políticos
pela sociedade? Quais os comentários mais comuns
sobre política e políticos no país?
Jens
– Os políticos têm uma posição
importante para muitas pessoas, entretanto alguns pensam
que eles não são confiáveis, enquanto
outros acham que eles são pessoas muito confiáveis;
o que claramente depende do entendimento de cada um. É
de grande importância que as declarações
dos políticos sejam verdadeiras. Se declararem algo
falso ou irreal a população tem o poder de
suspender ou trocar o parlamento dinamarquês.
Jornal
Jovem - Como funciona a propaganda eleitoral no país?
Jens
– É predominante nas semanas que antecedem
as eleições – posters serão publicados.
Políticos sairão nas ruas para conseguir votos
extras, muito material será publicado e distribuído.
Os cidadãos podem, sempre que quiserem, ter esse
material e receberão por correio de vários
partidos.
Jornal
Jovem
- Como é tratada a questão da corrupção
na política? De que forma a maioria da população
encara isso?
Jens
– A corrupção é totalmente inaceitável
na Dinamarca e é quase inexistente. A pessoa que
praticar a corrupção será duramente
punida. A pessoa será suspensa e prejudicará
o partido também. Uma vez que o primeiro ministro
dinamarquês foi pego distribuindo informações
não verdadeiras ele perdeu seu título. As
pessoas nunca aceitarão corrupção na
Dinamarca.
